A Jones electric bicycle is great for all kinds of riding, on-road and off, touring, gravel, commuting, bikepacking, technical trails, loaded or unloaded. The frames and forks are designed together (a frameset) so they work together to deliver a great handling bike. Jones Geometry. You are perfectly positioned (balanced) between the wheels. You sit back and upright, with less weight on your arms and your head up – the position is natural and very comfortable. They don’t ‘fit’ like ‘normal bikes’ – they really fit!

Frame	Jones Plus LWB HD/e. 4130 chromoly custom butted tubing that is TIG welded and post heat treated, CNC dropouts, 148 mm x 12 mm thru axle “Boost” rear hub spacing, 68 mm English/BSA threaded bottom bracket shell, 27.2 mm seatpost size, 31.8 mm seatpost clamp size diameter, Standard 1 1/8" headtube for external bearing headsets.
Fork	Jones LWB HD/e Unicrown Fork. Heat treated 4130 Chromoly butted tubing. Long steerer tube for maximum adjustment, with butted, tapered and oval legs, 150 mm x 15 mm thru axle spacing.
Front Thru Axle	Aluminum 150 mm x 15 mm front thru axle bolt. 181 mm x 15 mm, M15 x 1.50 thread pitch. Uses a 6 mm hex wrench. Simple, reliable, light, and low profile.
Rear Thru Axle	Aluminum 148 mm x 12 mm rear thru axle bolt. 171 mm x 12 mm, M12 x 1.75 thread pitch. Uses a 6 mm hex wrench. Simple, reliable, light, and low profile.
Headset	Jones Sealed Cartridge H-Set. Light, durable and simple with with readily available replaceable cartridge bearings. Excellent tolerances. Compression ring design is easy to install and slide on the steerer tube. Quality materials throughout.
Seatpost	Jones Spec. Straight, forged aluminum, anodized black with laser etched graphics. 400 mm. This is a reliable, easy to adjust seatpost.
Seatpost Clamp	Machined aluminum, anodized black with laser etched logo. 31.8 mm. Stainless steel bolt uses a 5 mm hex wrench.
Front Hub	Jones Spec. 36 hole, 150 mm x 15 mm thru axle hub with sealed cartridge bearings. Canted flanges angle the spokes in toward the spoke holes in the rim, and the wide and even flange spacing makes for an extremely strong and stiff wheel. Cutaways in the flanges and relief inside the hub keep weight to a minimum, making this the perfect center for a super stiff, super strong wheel.
Rear Hub	Jones Spec. HD/e 36 hole, 148 mm x 12 mm Boost hub. Sealed Cartridge Bearings. Black. Like the front hub, this is a simple, durable hub. The axle and Shimano HG driver body are both made from chromoly steel for maximum stiffness and durability. The 4 freehub pawls and the ratchet teeth are larger than what’s found in most hubs adding to the overall strength. Canted flanges angle the spokes in toward the spoke holes in the rim, and the wide flange spacing makes for an extremely strong and stiff wheel. Cutaways in the flanges keep weight to a minimum. 4 sealed cartridge bearings. 6-bolt disk brake pattern.

The distance you can ride an ebike on a full battery charge varies greatly depending on several variables.

Here are some tips on how to increase the range of your ebike. It's just like trying to get better mileage in a car by driving in a way where you conserve energy. Driving real smooth with easy accelerations and not speeding will increase your mileage.

Pedal to help the motor as much as you can.
Pedal at a higher cadence.
Use a lower power level when possible, especially at lower speeds.
Pedal only when starting out, power level 0. Then increase power assist once moving.
Don’t use power on downhills.

Then we tune, adjust and test ride your bike, tune it again and then carefully pack it back up and send it to you, or you can pick it up here (customer keeps take-off parts).
