Jones Spec. Rim Tape is just the right width for the Jones Spec. aluminum rims or any other rim with a 45 mm inner width. It's the same tape we use on our complete bikes. It's thin and will stretch easily to tape the rim snugly against the rim without gaps or wrinkles, for a better seal and easier tire changes. This tape is also compatible with normal inner tubes.
This tape can be thinner, lighter, and more stretchy than others because it is designed for the lower air pressure range that a Jones bike use, around 10-15 psi. It's ok for up to 50 psi. Other rim tapes that are made for all wheels including for up to 120 psi+ are generally thicker and not as easy to stretch into the rim tightly which can make changing tires more difficult and also lead to air leaks under the tape.
