Custom Select wheels are the best way to get a wheel or wheelset for your Jones bike for how and where you ride, and for what you want and need in a wheel. Jeff will use his expertise from over 35 years of studying, building, and riding bikes to help you choose the best components for your riding needs. The Jones Bikes Custom Select Team will guide you through his proven process. We will schedule a time for you to talk with Jeff about your wheels, including reviewing every part of the wheels and any questions you may have. Your wheels will be handbuilt and tuned here at our shop in Ashland, Oregon. From start to finish, the process usually takes from 30-45 days.

Jeff’s intention with the Custom Select process is to provide you with your best ride. His choices are not based on what the latest bike trend may be, or, that expensive always means better. He’s interested in building you the best wheel or wheelset possible for your specific needs.

We are currently only building wheels for Jones bikes.

Jones Hub spacing: 

• Front 150 x 15 mm thru-axle
• Rear 148 x 12 mm thru-axle

We can also set up your Custom Select wheel or wheelset tubeless with valve stems and tires.

If you would like to get started, please pay the Custom Select consult and design fee of $200. This deposit will secure your place in our build schedule and if you ultimately purchase a Custom Select wheel or wheelset from this experience, we will apply this fee toward the price of your new wheels.
